Peter Cusimano, MPT
Physical Therapist, Owner
Peter is a 2001 graduate of Upstate Medical University with a master's degree in Physical Therapy. He moved to the Syracuse area from Jamestown, NY in 2005 and opened Liverpool Physical Therapy at that time. Peter prides himself on the ability to advertise mostly through "word of mouth", as the patient's opinion is the best advertisement available.
When he is not at the office, Pete enjoys spending time with his family both in Syracuse and Jamestown, NY. He also enjoys exercise and sports and plays on a local volleyball team. His favorite activity is reading books to his kids.
Michael Anders, DPT
Physical Therapist, Owner
Mike is a 2004 graduate of Daemen College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He proudly became co-owner of Liverpool Physical Therapy in 2008. Mike is both a dedicated business owner and thorough physical therapist. He is confident in his staff and attributes their vast knowledge and friendliness to the many return patients.
When he has free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his children, playing soccer, fishing and practicing his golf swing.

Tracey Fitzgerald, PT
Physical Therapist
Tracey graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester in 2004 for physical therapy. She has enjoyed working in the outpatient Syracuse area for the last 12 years, but just joined the Liverpool Physical Therapy team in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, driving her Jeep, and playing volleyball.

Emily graduated from Nazareth College

Sophie Nielsen, DPT
Physical Therapist
Sophie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2024. Originally from Michigan, she made the move to Syracuse in 2020 to pursue her passion for physical therapy. Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find her playing volleyball or pickleball, hiking outdoors, or relaxing at home with her two cats.
Jenell Herbert
Administrative
Jenell is one of our front desk receptionists, and also handles several of the behind the scenes responsibilities. She is a mother of four beautiful children. In her free time she enjoys cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family, and friends.
Kasandra Correia
Administrative
Kasey has previously she worked as a CNA and an MA, but stopped working to become a stay-at-home mom after welcoming her son in 2023. Her return to the work force has brought her to join our team at LPT where she handles all the responsibilities at the front desk.
She enjoys spending time with her family, three dogs, and four cats. Her favorite things to do are going shopping with her sister and niece, napping with her toddler, swimming, and reading. She cherishes traveling with her husband and son the most.
